The conference was opened by Daria Zhdan-Pushkina, the Mediation Center Solis, with the topic of business negotiation styles. Daria Zhdan-Pushkina spoke about the western and eastern schools of negotiations, about the individual negotiation style of the most famous negotiators and diplomats, gave examples of extraordinary decisions in complex negotiations.
Veronika Demidova spoke on the topic Manipulations in Megotiations. Identification and Methods of Counteraction. Veronika Demidova reported on the main types of manipulations, cited situations from her practice to counteract manipulations.
Natalya Frolova made a detailed study on the levels of the mediator's work with emotions. Natalya Frolova gave recommendations to mediators on how to work with the emotions of the parties and those who support them.
Ilya Rakov and Yevgeny Zakharov, BFD Law Office, spoke on the topic Strategy and Tactics of Negotiating with Government Authorities. Colleagues described the system of work with such negotiations, analyzed cases from their practice in tax and criminal law.
Olga Novikova, head of the HSE Legal Clinic, spoke on the topic Legal Design. Olga talked about how important it is to correctly illustrate and structure the information in negotiations.
