Yesterday, April 17, 2026, the Solis Mediation Center held its regular meeting. The meeting was dedicated to mediation in the insurance and construction sectors.
Polina Kondratyuk, a mediator at the Solis Mediation Center, mediated a dispute between a company constructing a seaport and an insurance company that had assumed the risks associated with damage to the port and the developer's property. Polina Kondratyuk specializes in insurance disputes.
We thank Ella Vikhrova, a mediator at the Center with experience in construction law, and Artem Bondarev, an RK insurance broker with experience in insurance, for presenting the positions and interests of the parties in the dispute.
At the event, some participants learned about the mediation process for the first time. One of the most important goals of our center is to demonstrate the process to consumers.
The event was attended by representatives of insurers, insurance brokers, mediators, attorneys, arbitrators, and representatives of arbitration centers.
Traditionally, we hold intimate events with no more than 30 participants. This allows for productive networking, professional discussions, and a chance for people to get to know each other better.
Our meeting went wonderfully. We've been preparing for it since February. We prepared the venue, the script, the materials, and even prepared the participants for the challenging work of demonstrating mediation.
